Classes and instruction are intended to help adults with developmental disabilities achieve their highest level of independence.
A variety of topics are offered including budgeting, safety skills, meal preparation, task completion, getting along with others, and more.
Who is Eligible?
Individuals 18 years old or older who:
- Have been determined to have a developmental disability and have qualified for Medicaid or self pay
- Have available the necessary medical, social, psychological, and other diagnostic materials
- Are able to show progress within six months from the initial service date
- Are able to maintain a 90% positive attendance record or better unless a medical condition prevents program attendance
Where are Services Provided?
Life Skills Training is provided in the home of the consumer, in the community and at the Tesh facility in Coeur d’Alene.
