Tesh opened its doors in 1976 with a mission is to provide choices and opportunities to children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Now more than 47 years later we still provide more than 300 clients per year an array of services guided by the same core values of choice, dedication, integrity, progress, and quality.

We offer a vareity of services for youth including an after school porgam and a summer camp, along with behavioral internvention, pre-employment, and community based services. Our adult programming incudes specialized employment training, job coaching, individualized life skills training, and an adult day health center.

We are dedicated to providing services that enable poeple liviing with disabilities greater independence, self-sufficiency, and participation in their community.

Tesh is licensed by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. We are registered with the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office as Non-Profit. We are proud to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Professionally trained, with years of experience, our staff ensure the interests and needs of every individual are the highest priority. Outstanding ratings on consumer satisfaction surveys and the highest level of national accreditation are testimonies to our commitment to excellence. We have proudly served North Idaho for over 47 years.

Board of Directors

Tesh, Inc. is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who represent a broad range of interests within our community. The purpose of our Board of Directors is to further the mission of Tesh, Inc. by supporting and promoting the services and products offered, taking Board actions to establish corporate policies that guide the organization and develop a strategic plan to address the needs of the community and those served.

Board Members meet every other month, with monthly committee meeting, and serve a three year term.

ACCSES IDAHO

Tesh is a member of ACCSES IDAHO, a non-profit organization composed of facilities representing eleven of Idaho’s community rehabilitation programs. ACCSES-IDAHO is genuinely concerned that citizens of Idaho are aware of the services provided by its members for Idaho’s adult disabled population. Community Rehabilitation facilities are a vital link in the network of services that are necessary if persons with disabilities are to have an equal opportunity to achieve their highest level of economic and social independence.
