Mr. Doumas joined Tesh as the Chief Executive Officer in July 2005. He is directly responsible to the Board of Directors for the overall management of Tesh and its programs.
Mr. Doumas has 39 years of experience serving persons with disabilities through educational and employment opportunities. Most recently, he was President of Job Point in Columbia, Missouri, where he was responsible for operations of a comprehensive employment and training center serving persons with disabilities as well as the economically disadvantaged. Mr. Doumas was also Director of Metro Industrial Services in Lexington, Kentucky, for ten years and also an Adult Education Instructor there.
Mr. Doumas received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and his Master’s in Rehabilitation Administration from the University of San Francisco’s College of Business Administration.
Mr. Doumas has been actively involved in his community and with the legislature. His contributions and participation in these areas include his work on the Executive Committee of American Congress of Community Supporters and Employment Services, Past President of Missouri Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Past President of Kentucky Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Former Surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Past-Chair of the Idaho State Rehabilitation Council, and served 3 years as a Congressional appointee to the Ticket to Work and Work Incentive Advisory Panel. Currently, he serves as President of ACCSES-Idaho and is a member of the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club.
